This section does not work like a normal dictionary. Next to the English words, you will find Choctaw words and phrases that relate to it. You MUST go to the entries for those words to find out which best fits what you are looking for.

EXAMPLE:
The English word cabbage is followed by the Choctaw words tohe and kalush. These are not the same thing. Tohe is defined as "cabbage," while kalush is defined as "cabbage, collards." Collard greens and cabbage are considered different things today, so you choose which is a better fit.
